In Mexico, we are in Merida which is located in the Yucatan

Students in both of these options are housed together and have the opportunity to be a part of the same group of BYU students.

Mexico Global Health

The focus of this internship will be either public health education (preparing and delivering public health workshops to locals, who may include children or adults, in community or health clinic settings) or health care (shadowing and assisting doctors and other healthcare professionals in hospitals and clinics.)  

Mexico Vulnerable & Disadvantaged Populations

This internship focuses on working with local community organizations and programs providing services for the vulnerable and disadvantaged.  Interns can choose to work with organizations and community centers that work with people with disabilities or with disadvantaged children.
