Then you may be interested in a global health internship!

The goal of the Global Health Internship program is to provide BYU students with field experiences (often referred to as global health internships) providing exposure to public health, clinical practices, service learning, social services, social determinants of health, culture, human resources for health, and other educational experiences which result in a reflective, transformative global health and/or international development experience. 

 

The BYU Global Health Internship program appeals to students studying many majors, including public health, pre-medicine, and other pre-clinical careers, international development, education, sociology, non-profit management, and other disciplines that may relate to global health and/or international development. 

 

Global Health Internship programs focus on some combination of

1) Hospital Medicine

2) Global/Public Health and Community Medicine

3) International Development and other non-health students
